Unknown Speaker  0:00

Welcome to a special holiday season is hard y'all episode of Character Creation Cast.

Unknown Speaker  0:08

It brings us to our academy con 2019 panel where we create some random characters with the help of the audience. It was a really fun time and we can't wait for you to hear what we got up to. But first, some announcements.

Unknown Speaker  0:23

December is fast approaching everyone a little too fast. In fact, life has been really crazy for both of us and the end of the year is always a blur of holidays and travel and family and snow for at least for Ryan and I maybe offered you lucky individuals but definitely Ryan and I it snowed four times four or five times already this year. Yeah, it was the second snow. Yes, October

Unknown Speaker  0:49

October, October recorded weather history in Wisconsin.

Unknown Speaker  0:54

Yeah, it's I'm not loving it honestly. And it does not bode well.

Unknown Speaker  1:00

But anyway, um,

Unknown Speaker  1:03

that whether it's engine decide, because of that we are not going to be releasing a new series next month. Instead, we are going to be releasing some of our favorite episodes. Yeah, we're going to be doing some quick commentary at the beginning of each episode, talking about why we love them and what we learned from them. If you are behind on the show, it's a great time to catch up. And if you aren't, it's a great time to be reminded of some great moments we've had over the last nearly two years making the show.

Unknown Speaker  1:35

Next month is also a very good time to send us a review. We haven't had nearly enough time to sit down and read them together, but we plan to jump back in with both feet pretty soon. And if you want us to read yours, it's a good time to get in on the phone and just you know, like get right in on the top of that pile.

Unknown Speaker  1:53

Here's one from a Roomba. I have no idea if that's how you said that from the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Unknown Speaker  2:00

Northern Ireland on iTunes, entitled not just a great podcast, but a great gateway.

Unknown Speaker  2:07

Not only is great podcast to begin with, and probably one of my top podcasts I found last year, but it's directly led me to have my absolute favorite podcast because of guests they had on, which has knock on effects leading me playing one of the best characters I've ever played. Oh, that's really cool. That's really exciting. Yeah, that's very exciting. We love hearing things like that. Yeah, absolutely love hearing like that. People have found games for our show or that like they've got a cool character idea, or I know I've said this lots of times too. But like, I love hearing that people found other podcasts from the guests that we have on to super fun. Yeah, it's really some really, we've had some really cool guests from some very good podcast. Absolutely. Yeah. And one of the other cool things is on our discord every now and then some of the people there will talk about some of their home games and some of the stuff they've used that

Unknown Speaker  3:00

have enhanced the experience at home and I would like it's just fantastic hearing that. Yeah. Yeah, it's kind of mind blowing some of the stuff that people like take away from the things that they've heard on the show. I love that kind of stuff. I love having that effect on like that the wider world, even if it's just like at someone's home table. It's very good.

Unknown Speaker  3:21

Well, with all of that out of the way, do we owe the people an apology for what they're about to listen to? And maybe never

Unknown Speaker  3:29

know, this isn't my other show where we do not apologize. We could apologize. I would say there's 100% more palladium tables that then Amelia would have wanted, but

Unknown Speaker  3:42

it led to some quality content. It's very true. It's very true. I'm very glad I included them. Yeah makes you

Unknown Speaker  3:51

enjoy question mark. Absolutely. Period.

Unknown Speaker  4:28

All right, welcome to the Character Creation Cast. I have my 2019 panel. It is 2019 so, yeah, it feels like it shouldn't be but it is yeah.

Unknown Speaker  4:40

Okay, um, we have decided that we're tired making characters. You all here to make them for us.

Unknown Speaker  4:52

What we decided to do

Unknown Speaker  4:55

is be like the most trash possible

Unknown Speaker  4:59

because you all know that

Unknown Speaker  5:00

Love rolling random tables. And you know what I love even more than that. Other people playing games Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  5:08

Ryan got a bunch of tables I found some other less offensive table

Unknown Speaker  5:16

oh five our fourth edition

Unknown Speaker  5:22

I just warm it

Unknown Speaker  5:24

sorry. Um so what we're going to do is we're going to go through we'll have all of you I've given you some dice will have you roll off the tables and we're going to try and make sense of it and see what sort of horrible trash people come out of this. Maybe we should for the possibly one person that doesn't know us. We're we're pretty familiar with almost everybody else here.

Unknown Speaker  5:45

Who are we? Oh, yes. We are Character Creation Cast. Okay.

Unknown Speaker  5:52

Excellent. So and you are I am Amelia Andhra, and I'm Ryan bolter. And now you know all about it.

Unknown Speaker  6:07

They look so much alike

Unknown Speaker  6:10

voices confused all the time.

Unknown Speaker  6:14

You guys have two distinct voices.

Unknown Speaker  6:17

I know it sounds that way in person, but I'm the mix when you get into the editing, you know, there's a lot of aftermarket effects that we have to put into the podcast, just to make a sound a little different. A lot of effects on each.

Unknown Speaker  6:30

I like on the on the one shot website that has our picture and it's like me on the left and you on the right.

Unknown Speaker  6:38

I have asked me to mirror image it, but then I was like, No, don't because then it's going to be like my hair's gonna be parted on the opposite. So

Unknown Speaker  6:49

I did that too, but she never did.

Unknown Speaker  6:53

It's very true. And I dropped it and I'm like, you know, whatever.

Unknown Speaker  7:00

Alright, I'm just glad it's alphabetical order. Yeah, well, that's what's important. That's very true.

Unknown Speaker  7:05

I My name is that alliteration to my attention back because I was like, never heard it before. Yeah. Okay, so do you know you know what tables everybody has? Where do you want to start? Um, how about let's just warm table or roll on our table to see what table we roll on.

Unknown Speaker  7:26

Okay, what what do I need to do? 10 give us a detailed. Let's see where we start this train wreck. Yeah, do that because I can't read those.

Unknown Speaker  7:38

Oh, table number six. Lucky six is we get to define a random meeting table number one right over there.

Unknown Speaker  7:49

Were so one of those is random. You know, table number one and one is random in a table number two, they are a small table at the top that gives you sub tables.

Unknown Speaker  8:00

That you get to roll on after you roll the random table. Yeah I got it I

Unknown Speaker  8:07

got this one from heroes. This is this is from after the bombs.

Unknown Speaker  8:12

You believe you also palladium Yeah. So character type is this table

Unknown Speaker  8:21

and I got a 46 which is rural animals of North America nice

Unknown Speaker  8:28

and true palladium style we need to know role on the rural animals of North America sub table

Unknown Speaker  8:38

should also be in your packet.

Unknown Speaker  8:41

Rural animals

Unknown Speaker  8:45

that's a 14 which is cattle cattle. We have a cattle person. I honest to god hope we get another one of these because then we can have a cattle hybrid with something else and know what's cooler right?

Unknown Speaker  9:01

Right exactly. Cattle with wings. That'd be pretty awesome. All right. Okay, I guess we can go again. I'll roll the dice. Okay, well these ones are really pretty. Okay.

Unknown Speaker  9:14

Seven table numbers, right even table number two

Unknown Speaker  9:27

Okay, so random animal type Zoo we got

Unknown Speaker  9:33

this is a 78 which is a mammal. Yes a mammal. Okay, so do you want me to do this underneath? Yeah, let's let's keep that up there so we know what type of person we are. Okay, so is this a subcategory of cattle is mammal

Unknown Speaker  9:54

mashing together

Unknown Speaker  9:57

This is the same character

Unknown Speaker  10:00

Ok.

Unknown Speaker  10:06

Ok, so now we're rolling on the mammal.

Unknown Speaker  10:11

So we got a 38 which is human.

Unknown Speaker  10:19

Have a minute Are

Unknown Speaker  10:24

you know that's that's not a bad combo really, really though the idea that we roll on to random tables which have some tables that we roll on randomly.

Unknown Speaker  10:37

Really, how likely is

Unknown Speaker  10:46

a reverse mandatory

Unknown Speaker  10:58

Okay, well

Unknown Speaker  11:00

Let's say if we get another one. Uh, let's start a second character. Okay, see what happens.

Unknown Speaker  11:07

Okay, that's you roll. I don't want to do

Unknown Speaker  11:13

Africa different series

Unknown Speaker  11:17

eight, honey heist. All right, honey as tables. You guys are hogging all the all the good stuff.

Unknown Speaker  11:28

So what are we rolling on that table?

Unknown Speaker  11:35

descriptor is slick, slick. I mean, so we could have this Minotaur Yeah. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  11:45

Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  11:48

Slippery would you say?

Unknown Speaker  11:54

slick is the actual descriptive word that we were assigned

Unknown Speaker  12:00

must follow.

Unknown Speaker  12:09

As long as it's not the bear type. Hacker,

Unknown Speaker  12:15

hacker. Let's give them a hand.

Unknown Speaker  12:18

There's a head table on there.

Unknown Speaker  12:22

That was the one everybody sounded like just a hot table. Don't worry about the rest of it. We're going for

Unknown Speaker  12:42

species.

Unknown Speaker  12:46

Like

Unknown Speaker  12:48

feels like a good number.

Unknown Speaker  12:50

Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  12:52

Let's do one more.

Unknown Speaker  12:53

Hacker.

Unknown Speaker  12:55

All right. I'm just gonna reroll if we get any of those tables again.

Unknown Speaker  13:00

Because

Unknown Speaker  13:03

okay 1010 This is the Shadowrun traits table. How does it all

Unknown Speaker  13:16

yeah there you go okay shadow and trace repassing the love around the room for these random tables because somehow we keep rolling six or higher

Unknown Speaker  13:28

I'm like no passes there's a bunch of different stuff yeah pick something appropriate

Unknown Speaker  13:34

so we hit the six

Unknown Speaker  13:42

six isn't abnormally clean or dirty so let's go with him that normally clean minutes are

Unknown Speaker  13:50

normally cowboy hat words

Unknown Speaker  13:54

you know I was a hacker yeah that that you know this paints a picture

Unknown Speaker  14:00

Yeah, I'm starting to get a good feel for this character.

Unknown Speaker  14:08

Because like

Unknown Speaker  14:15

I

Unknown Speaker  14:16

know I know nobody's gonna care.

Unknown Speaker  14:19

We don't have to spell it out on audio. Yeah, well everyone wearing like a three piece suit and a polo

Unknown Speaker  14:33

physically

Unknown Speaker  14:36

give this character name huh? Yeah. So we are going to roll one d 1000. And we are going to

Unknown Speaker  14:45

cut it in half and go to that page in the baby name book and see what happens. It's not

Unknown Speaker  14:53

gonna be real

Unknown Speaker  15:00

6000 so I could I miss

Unknown Speaker  15:04

670? So 335 it's 335 What do we got?

Unknown Speaker  15:11

And if a name jumps out, let's just use it as 335 Oh, you guys, Booker.

Unknown Speaker  15:29

Booker been the hacking minute hard.

Unknown Speaker  15:32

wears a cowboy hat. Yeah. One of the best part about like using the baby name books.

Unknown Speaker  15:39

Ages. They're all

Unknown Speaker  15:47

amazing. Hey, we made a kid.

Unknown Speaker  15:55

Again. Yeah, let's do it again. All right, what do we got? By by random chance. We're probably getting

Unknown Speaker  16:00

Get another meeting animal

Unknown Speaker  16:03

like a good place to start though. A lot we really did. But you know, let's build up from a different spot mean. Maybe they've got let's see a rich background.

Unknown Speaker  16:14

Oh, so let's let's for all

Unknown Speaker  16:19

Yep, so we gotta we gotta see which risk background table we get to roll on

Unknown Speaker  16:25

a six

Unknown Speaker  16:28

yes

Unknown Speaker  16:30

okay get ready to write a lot

Unknown Speaker  16:44

which is why the wild man

Unknown Speaker  16:51

and the bullheaded overconfident takes I bet there is content the rest of the situation without thinking it all through. That's amazing. All right. Okay.

Unknown Speaker  17:00

So we got a wild man

Unknown Speaker  17:02

legal wild person well person literally. I mean there you go wild

Unknown Speaker  17:09

rice

Unknown Speaker  17:11

five What do we got here? This is the L five our heritage table from fifth edition. Oh

Unknown Speaker  17:21

that's okay. Position limits

Unknown Speaker  17:27

on eight he is stolen knowledge one of your ancestors learned the secret of another school and when that finally passed it down through the ages now with this reached you.

Unknown Speaker  17:39

Nice as a modifier you decrease your honor by five.

Unknown Speaker  17:49

I do know one additional technique rule attempts I did that again in the category noise

Unknown Speaker  17:57

nine so

Unknown Speaker  18:00

Whoa, whoa

Unknown Speaker  18:02

okay, they know what

Unknown Speaker  18:04

to

Unknown Speaker  18:07

do. Yes. Oh fun seeing the magic winching No, I know what it is but for the accident for the audience can we

Unknown Speaker  18:19

stolen knowledge magical punching? Right, right. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  18:25

Magical watching.

Unknown Speaker  18:32

Good picture here. This is gonna be an interesting adventuring crew. Yeah, I can't wait. All right, so random table number 142 This is another world animal of North America.

Unknown Speaker  18:55

95 the first swipe

Unknown Speaker  19:09

Amazing

Unknown Speaker  19:22

Shadowrun shell Corporation table

Unknown Speaker  19:26

Oh the shell corporations are from from spire Oh spire choke shell Corporation Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  19:33

Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  19:35

Oh you can read

Unknown Speaker  19:39

these

Unknown Speaker  19:41

three

Unknown Speaker  19:43

see his lieutenants

Unknown Speaker  19:46

table 366 we have when

Unknown Speaker  19:53

three waves Scourge

Unknown Speaker  20:03

waving Scourge and sons

Unknown Speaker  20:24

does this person work for them? Are they the at this person is the

Unknown Speaker  20:34

get their act together?

Unknown Speaker  20:37

him take over the business absolutely not, you know

Unknown Speaker  20:44

really punch people

Unknown Speaker  20:48

Oh my God, I mean it's probably like

Unknown Speaker  20:52

superpowers. So now we get one through six. Alright so see what superpower table if we get a one that's been taken off

Unknown Speaker  21:03

Three so table number three for superpowers

Unknown Speaker  21:09

so what what what? What table are we are we rolling on here? your keys? It was three Yep.

Unknown Speaker  21:15

Major super abilities table. Yes. So random major super ability from poletti and heroes unlimited second edition. Okay.

Unknown Speaker  21:30

Darkness control. Oh,

Unknown Speaker  21:35

I like that.

Unknown Speaker  21:40

Bear with that actually

Unknown Speaker  21:46

doesn't feel wrong but you know, that's okay. All right, we got one more trait

Unknown Speaker  21:52

I really want to roles. superpowers one just because we're gonna have to write like so much it's

Unknown Speaker  21:58

really tiny

Unknown Speaker  22:03

Do you still want to have a co host after this? Okay, I'll do

Unknown Speaker  22:08

eight. So I'm honey. Nice. All right. I mean, we did it for

Unknown Speaker  22:19

three to figure out this week. Well,

Unknown Speaker  22:23

I think that I think that to kind of go together. Yeah, there's a bunch of tables on there. So like which tables?

Unknown Speaker  22:31

They're all three different things. Yeah, that's true. I think the half the most important, I think so.

Unknown Speaker  22:40

Alright, we do need to know what job is punching. Yeah. let's determine this wild pig man from Flint, Michigan sons. Okay. They were it's hot packs.

Unknown Speaker  22:59

You're really trying

Unknown Speaker  23:00

To get back into

Unknown Speaker  23:04

dad we want to prove

Unknown Speaker  23:06

that we do deserve to be the

Unknown Speaker  23:11

need to have a good public face of the company.

Unknown Speaker  23:20

I just have to have this vision you know like

Unknown Speaker  23:24

I say we'll

Unknown Speaker  23:28

definitely have a

Unknown Speaker  23:33

course

Unknown Speaker  23:35

and maybe even like a pocket watch Yeah. Oh my god, wild card

Unknown Speaker  23:44

room at all.

Unknown Speaker  23:47

All the all that big hair

Unknown Speaker  23:50

tymberlee disinherited. 866 divided by two is 433

Unknown Speaker  23:58

What's this?

Unknown Speaker  24:00

This guy's game or girls, that's that's the voices.

Unknown Speaker  24:05

Everything's for everyone gender social constructs. Okay? Um, let's see. Isaac,

Unknown Speaker  24:14

Isidore, Indiana.

Unknown Speaker  24:19

I think Isaac, Indiana

Unknown Speaker  24:36

is obviously his father his older brother flames. The second

Unknown Speaker  24:42

second son, Indiana.

Unknown Speaker  24:48

He's on the house with his family because he doesn't have flame powers like his

Unknown Speaker  24:53

magical punching.

Unknown Speaker  24:57

Although with the darkness control

Unknown Speaker  25:00

Like a dark slate. That'd be pretty cool. All right, NDS. Awesome. Okay, we had a lot of time. Let's do another one. We have I have more papers we can just just let's just make a whole party. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  25:16

And that will then we can decide Why are these what why? Why are these?

Unknown Speaker  25:27

Why are these people? Why are these?

Unknown Speaker  25:32

Let's start with honey. Let's see what we got. Right?

Unknown Speaker  25:38

I mean, I think

Unknown Speaker  25:41

this tells us I mean, honestly that really brought it all together. It's true.

Unknown Speaker  25:46

This one was a bowler. Nice. Okay, so we got a bowler hat.

Unknown Speaker  26:00

We want to find out what kind of bear they are too.

Unknown Speaker  26:03

Yeah, I mean gotta be going yeah

Unknown Speaker  26:07

let's keep let's keep with it. I really hope we get a hybrid again. There were grizzly bear

Unknown Speaker  26:15

all right.

Unknown Speaker  26:17

We got we got two there. Okay. That's all good.

Unknown Speaker  26:22

All right just leaves us more time to make more people. All right. All right. What do we got? superpowers

Unknown Speaker  26:30

and table number six

Unknown Speaker  26:36

It doesn't matter.

Unknown Speaker  26:38

Control.

Unknown Speaker  26:44

Control

Unknown Speaker  26:53

wow

Unknown Speaker  26:56

yeah I don't climb trees. I think the trees just

Unknown Speaker  27:00

Yeah

Unknown Speaker  27:03

I mean that's that's just convenient. That's just smart. Exactly. All right. What do we got here now? I'm number four.

Unknown Speaker  27:12

So that is the the heritage tables for fifth edition.

Unknown Speaker  27:18

They are a ruthless,

Unknown Speaker  27:21

ruthless Victor. All right.

Unknown Speaker  27:29

I mean, when you got a slick hacker in there and give them the kill the bear with the martial arts at arms.

Unknown Speaker  27:41

Sounds like would be really effective. Yeah, so this is kind of like

Unknown Speaker  27:46

yeah, this is like a plant bending, you know from amateur.

Unknown Speaker  27:57

I don't know. Otherwise, it'd be an honor.

Unknown Speaker  28:01

Yeah, it's fine.

Unknown Speaker  28:08

It's okay. You're back to the mic so probably didn't even pick it up at all.

Unknown Speaker  28:15

All right, what do you got one or two more? Fantastic. Oh god. Oh yes. Crickets.

Unknown Speaker  28:22

Good.

Unknown Speaker  28:25

condition.

Unknown Speaker  28:37

side okay

Unknown Speaker  28:41

65 we've got 65

Unknown Speaker  28:47

at night cap that one born gives you lessons

Unknown Speaker  29:02

Is the polar

Unknown Speaker  29:13

polar

Unknown Speaker  29:15

cap on the highbreed obviously yeah there we kind of have dreams for the next like so every month six year old the morning the night cap on

Unknown Speaker  29:28

okay number six oh my god. Okay, let's see what we got

Unknown Speaker  29:33

random your table number two

Unknown Speaker  29:38

there's only two. Yeah each one has like 12 tables. I know it's true. Okay 37 is mammal, another mammal

Unknown Speaker  29:51

is live

Unknown Speaker  29:58

it's a grizzly bear bad

Unknown Speaker  30:04

That was terrifying. Cuz like I was like teeny tiny little

Unknown Speaker  30:08

Really?

Unknown Speaker  30:10

Like kind of float above the ground a little bit

Unknown Speaker  30:14

mushy face. Yes. Yeah, that's what she faced with bare

Unknown Speaker  30:27

hands on the

Unknown Speaker  30:30

regular bear arms but they have like the little life

Unknown Speaker  30:35

style,

Unknown Speaker  30:37

beyond style but it's a fair

Unknown Speaker  31:00

376 divided like that. It's all been even numbers so far. Awesome. 376 Yes. 150 plus 30 something What did they say? Yeah. 83 183

Unknown Speaker  31:15

Yeah, we can map. What 83 we got

Unknown Speaker  31:23

one.

Unknown Speaker  31:25

Right, we can do it.

Unknown Speaker  31:28

Here. Oh, yeah. So these are different versions of the name. May we gotta go with Matilda. Matilda. Oh, yeah.

Unknown Speaker  31:37

Should we do until the mayor,

Unknown Speaker  31:39

the mayor except that this person has nothing

Unknown Speaker  31:46

until the mayor

Unknown Speaker  32:08

All right. I'm so sorry.

Unknown Speaker  32:13

I'm definitely not.

Unknown Speaker  32:17

We should have done this at the beginning of the weekend. So we could have used these characters in our time. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  32:22

That would have been really good. That would have been really, really good. All right, let's see what we got. next character.

Unknown Speaker  32:29

Starting off strong with radomir table number one.

Unknown Speaker  32:33

They're all

Unknown Speaker  32:37

bad

Unknown Speaker  32:40

24 which is urban animals.

Unknown Speaker  32:52

And then we've got an 87 which is

Unknown Speaker  33:02

Amazing

Unknown Speaker  33:09

all this might be from a rival shell Corporation

Unknown Speaker  33:14

rolling on the shell table. All right.

Unknown Speaker  33:20

Oh wait, this is a

Unknown Speaker  33:24

okay.

Unknown Speaker  33:26

Eight. Okay, cool

Unknown Speaker  33:33

six

Unknown Speaker  33:41

goldwing society All right.

Unknown Speaker  33:44

That's very ominous.

Unknown Speaker  33:47

More like a

Unknown Speaker  33:49

secret dark organization

Unknown Speaker  33:55

our tables are the companies are

Unknown Speaker  34:00

All right, let's see what we got next.

Unknown Speaker  34:03

For EU l five, our heritage table fourth edition.

Unknown Speaker  34:10

There are eight of them. Let's roll an eight sided dice. So let's roll with the eight.

Unknown Speaker  34:15

I didn't number them one through eight,

Unknown Speaker  34:25

ordered them in alphabetical order and I was disappointed.

Unknown Speaker  34:28

Or whatever order they were in, I just did want to

Unknown Speaker  34:35

roll out.

Unknown Speaker  34:42

Seven. So you're, you have an illustrious past.

Unknown Speaker  34:51

Your ancestor last the book is the only copy of some vital information

Unknown Speaker  34:57

they commit who and your family

Unknown Speaker  35:00

This has been committed to finding the knowledge ever since.

Unknown Speaker  35:04

Proven disadvantage. Interesting. I don't know how

Unknown Speaker  35:13

you can trace your mind directly to your family's founder, you may take a phoenix clan ancestor or less experience. Okay?

Unknown Speaker  35:24

Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  35:27

So, I mean with this crew It feels like it's not a plan. It's

Unknown Speaker  35:37

also one of your ancestors went missing for several months, no one is sure where they went. But when they return, they had no memory seat or a message that they claimed was from the celestial heavens. You may take one advantage chosen by the oracles for two let's experience points, but you also give a disadvantage Lord moons curse. So I think you have this Phoenix ancestor

Unknown Speaker  36:00

came back with this weird knowledge and started the goldwings

Unknown Speaker  36:06

like hearing about getting lost in the back, like out there a little it feels more like Phoenix Arizona

Unknown Speaker  36:18

from Phoenix Arizona, who is a conspiracy theorist and started the goldwings

Unknown Speaker  36:28

Don't forget

Unknown Speaker  36:35

yep

Unknown Speaker  36:38

What do we got coming up? I've got three

Unknown Speaker  36:42

All right, let's see what we got now. Um, did we roll on honey host yet? We did not.

Unknown Speaker  36:51

Did we get hats for everybody? Yeah, yeah.

Unknown Speaker  36:58

rerolls Gallery

Unknown Speaker  37:00

Yeah, okay, yeah.

Unknown Speaker  37:02

Damn it

Unknown Speaker  37:05

Okay, they have a flat cap.

Unknown Speaker  37:14

Baseball head. Oh, is it like the one set of what I assumed was like? No, no. He's like the gangster like yeah the oh yeah the 40 Oh

Unknown Speaker  37:29

yeah.

Unknown Speaker  37:32

No, just drive the truck and wears a hat does not make it a trucker hat.

Unknown Speaker  37:50

Newsies Yeah Okay, come on.

Unknown Speaker  37:56

If you don't reference the Newsies retired white flag

Unknown Speaker  38:00

No idea. It's a musical, Chris.

Unknown Speaker  38:14

Oklahoma.

Unknown Speaker  38:19

stereotype of like us boys used to like

Unknown Speaker  38:24

they wear those hats. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  38:27

Absolutely.

Unknown Speaker  38:29

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad that we got that.

Unknown Speaker  38:38

We got a risk background table. So let's

Unknown Speaker  38:43

Oh, do you want to roll the random table that you get? Yeah, roll around the table. Otherwise I rolled this position if

Unknown Speaker  38:51

I can wait. All right.

Unknown Speaker  38:57

Like a giant elephant alien

Unknown Speaker  39:00

Yeah, kinda in a tiny airplane. Yeah but he says a jet pack I'm going to do weight first.

Unknown Speaker  39:07

Easily average weight average way

Unknown Speaker  39:12

for a rapper

Unknown Speaker  39:15

for a rat personal but very very short. Okay, so

Unknown Speaker  39:30

it says that average height is six week old is it male or female?

Unknown Speaker  39:36

We don't know ya know yet.

Unknown Speaker  39:40

For a male the 62 ages average female is by

Unknown Speaker  39:50

the table says what the table says this is

Unknown Speaker  39:56

what I'm learning now is that apparently I'm short

Unknown Speaker  40:13

We're talking about superhero averages here

Unknown Speaker  40:17

from the 90s

Unknown Speaker  40:21

pockets

Unknown Speaker  40:26

are going to do another shell Corporation are we? I think so we have a

Unknown Speaker  40:32

they do already have a show.

Unknown Speaker  40:33

So let's do a random number two.

Unknown Speaker  40:44

Okay, excellent there a bird of some time.

Unknown Speaker  40:57

Well there are

Unknown Speaker  41:00

Door.

Unknown Speaker  41:10

That kind of makes sense.

Unknown Speaker  41:13

Let's name this Condor rack from Phoenix Arizona. My God. Yes, please.

Unknown Speaker  41:20

Can't wait. names are really bringing it all together. That's true. Yeah. I'm 160 so that isn't easy.

Unknown Speaker  41:29

At

Unknown Speaker  41:37

All right, page 80 I'm sorry. Domino.

Unknown Speaker  41:44

Domino, Donnelly. I'm going Oh, yeah.

Unknown Speaker  41:51

That's pretty good. That's pretty good. Yeah. Or Dorcas

Unknown Speaker  42:00

I think name used by the Romans, the Puritans and the Bard are pretty much taboo today due to the objectionable connotations, both front and back ends

Unknown Speaker  42:12

of adornment. Yeah. And this is really a gift to all of us. Domino, Domino sounds amazing. All right.

Unknown Speaker  42:23

Yeah. Condor rat assassin.

Unknown Speaker  42:26

Sorry. Was it Dora? Domino, Domino? Yeah. Oh my god.

Unknown Speaker  42:33

I'm so

Unknown Speaker  42:36

and we do have time do we want to do one more? Do we want to talk about these? tickler we need to know how they came together. Yeah, I mean, is it time for our fanfic Really?

Unknown Speaker  42:47

And then some world building some world building? Okay, yeah, I was gonna bring the book. That's okay. I think we've got plenty of random tables, but not for background. I think we can sit down or shut up.

Unknown Speaker  43:02

I think you're right. All right.

Unknown Speaker  43:04

Yeah. Let's let's have something for prosperity. Yeah. Yeah, I can't wait to like hang on my wall

Unknown Speaker  43:14

frames, laminated so we can hang it in the studio

Unknown Speaker  43:21

in the studio.

Unknown Speaker  43:23

Some art commission. Oh no.

Unknown Speaker  43:29

It's not worth it.

Unknown Speaker  43:42

Pick a system stack these things up and running.

Unknown Speaker  43:55

I mean, we could roll on the

Unknown Speaker  43:59

table.

Unknown Speaker  44:00

See what well i think the Shadowrun wants to might have like some jobs and stuff.

Unknown Speaker  44:06

This is definitely a shadow. This is 100% of shadow

Unknown Speaker  44:13

shadow companies. Oh yeah, yeah corporate just

Unknown Speaker  44:16

like a corporate world going on here. Um, yeah, this is like look at this is clearly post apocalyptic future Yeah, but there's corporations exist because yeah

Unknown Speaker  44:30

because the first thing Americans brought out a way to bring back

Unknown Speaker  44:38

whichever row they are

Unknown Speaker  44:44

oh

Unknown Speaker  44:47

I think one of them is double sided. Yeah. Okay, this one is job type meet locations,

Unknown Speaker  44:56

employers twists

Unknown Speaker  44:59

and turns.

Unknown Speaker  45:00

Okay.

Unknown Speaker  45:03

So ask everybody else to roll here. Okay. So we can pick a job maybe? Yeah, I think your job would be alright. So I'm just someone want to roll a D six.

Unknown Speaker  45:15

All right. One, one. Data steal. That sounds about right. We got a hacker. All right. Yeah. So Let's steal some data.

Unknown Speaker  45:26

This group is going to be stealing some data. That means there's data to be stolen. So we got modern or postmodern sort of tech. I'm guessing. On the Shadowrun table, you have horrifying rap people.

Unknown Speaker  45:41

Is every single character a blend of two animals? Yeah, yeah, you've

Unknown Speaker  45:48

got something like a radiation bomb going wrong. Instead of killing all the people that just turn them into, just fuse all the animals together.

Unknown Speaker  45:58

person is just picking

Unknown Speaker  46:00

Oh

Unknown Speaker  46:03

Oh

Unknown Speaker  46:07

I thought they had a barren

Unknown Speaker  46:11

person. Oh there goes there goes my series

Unknown Speaker  46:15

manbearpig

Unknown Speaker  46:17

Yeah,

Unknown Speaker  46:19

yeah bareback rat bird. This is actually a very versatile party here.

Unknown Speaker  46:27

Actually

Unknown Speaker  46:30

job well I mean honestly she's in a secret society that is her whole job it can be a serious being in a cult takes a lot of time it was I gotta find the book they gotta

Unknown Speaker  46:43

know what is they are the ones that put the group together should let me oh they're gathering point information because they gotta get that book. Yeah, they gotta find the book. Okay. Steal the data. What if the data is missing?

Unknown Speaker  47:00

Right.

Unknown Speaker  47:02

Find the missing book from Phoenix Arizona.

Unknown Speaker  47:07

Where are they going to meet up to do this?

Unknown Speaker  47:10

You guys want to go with the six

Unknown Speaker  47:17

to their meeting at a warehouse loading dock factory or other unused site? So we got What do we want? I'm sorry, rain warehouse. That's what you were saying. Okay, so we're meeting at a warehouse.

Unknown Speaker  47:35

Please be a spaghetti

Unknown Speaker  47:39

any warehouse restaurant or is it just a warehouse full of spaghetti

Unknown Speaker  47:47

All right, so it's a warehouse full of spaghetti.

Unknown Speaker  47:54

Is this like the the the leftover spaghetti that needed to be recalled because it was

Unknown Speaker  48:00

irradiated irradiated?

Unknown Speaker  48:05

Yeah, you can't just dispose of that because that's an environmental hazard. Well, but you know what flames virgin sons gonna do? They're just gonna dispose of the radios. I mean, that's true. I mean that's probably why we sell it. Just going to sell it's a spaghetti warehouse

Unknown Speaker  48:45

out for everyone else listen to and having me like

Unknown Speaker  48:50

I mean it's the most obvious like conspiracy theory. So right the most obvious conspiracy theory is irradiated.

Unknown Speaker  48:59

Possibly

Unknown Speaker  49:00

What a good we got macguffins. What do you want? What's the MacGuffin here. Let's Let's throw the D six.

Unknown Speaker  49:10

One, a key employee. So this is the central element or of interest to the story. So we got to get either access to a key employee or some sort of this place that we're stealing data from. So are we stealing the data from? Maybe the key employee has the data

Unknown Speaker  49:31

or the access codes or something? Should we make another shell corporation to figure out who we see on the standing? I mean, kind of have to it.

Unknown Speaker  49:39

All right. Can we make another show?

Unknown Speaker  49:45

We need a key employee.

Unknown Speaker  49:50

Bye bye. Oh,

Unknown Speaker  50:00

skirt weights here yes go

Unknown Speaker  50:03

for it for pour

Unknown Speaker  50:07

in

Unknown Speaker  50:17

it's like we're just going to call ourselves evil and

Unknown Speaker  50:21

here's the problem see bio Scourge has had a lot of lawsuits with flame Scourge and sons,

Unknown Speaker  50:27

the brand

Unknown Speaker  50:30

the brand new

Unknown Speaker  50:34

baby names to name

Unknown Speaker  50:37

probably we probably have to. All right, let's see. Let's see what employee

Unknown Speaker  50:44

we want to grab. Okay, you're

Unknown Speaker  50:48

472 I am rolling mommy. 427 I'm sorry I read that backward is this. That works two and a half.

Unknown Speaker  50:58

So halfway in the page.

Unknown Speaker  51:05

See I think when when all of this went down like they just split you know, Scourge want to play sons yeah

Unknown Speaker  51:19

230 236-222-1374 27 so

Unknown Speaker  51:31

yeah and a half to 13 and a half. So halfway down the page.

Unknown Speaker  51:38

Oberon

Unknown Speaker  51:40

that's a very good Oh, no. I mean we just go over on a Brian

Unknown Speaker  51:55

is it worth finding out what

Unknown Speaker  52:06

Table one, table two. Yeah. All right.

Unknown Speaker  52:10

So mammal

Unknown Speaker  52:20

Unknown Speaker  52:29

Unknown Speaker  52:41

It's like a little baby.

Unknown Speaker  52:44

It's like a mouse with some really fluffy tail.

Unknown Speaker  52:49

Yeah, it's a marsupial

Unknown Speaker  52:55

adorable employee ever

Unknown Speaker  53:01

Let's see what we can blend them with.

Unknown Speaker  53:04

So 90 so this is here breads mo

Unknown Speaker  53:12

Unknown Speaker  53:17

Unknown Speaker  53:21

Unknown Speaker  53:31

Unknown Speaker  53:42

fluffy sheep Yeah. Named over on O'Brien

Unknown Speaker  53:55

book oh my god

Unknown Speaker  53:59

right

Unknown Speaker  54:00

That we maybe need to determine a little bit about

Unknown Speaker  54:03

our party too or they just like working on this job like whoa, let's see who hired us. Okay, let's find out. We need to do 12 not 26 it looks like do 2d 636 I don't know why they do 12 so weird. Well, I guess it's Chaturanga

Unknown Speaker  54:22

Unknown Speaker  54:33

Unknown Speaker  54:36

All right. We are hired by a private individual. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  54:41

Named well they got 180 so 440

Unknown Speaker  54:48

Unknown Speaker  55:16

Jeremiah Jefferson. I mean

Unknown Speaker  55:24

Unknown Speaker  55:32

partnership?

Unknown Speaker  55:41

We're going through name. Yeah, call them Triple J.

Unknown Speaker  55:46

That that's their, their Johnson name

Unknown Speaker  55:52

for the Shadowrun enthusiasts that is the

Unknown Speaker  55:56

Mr. Jefferson actually

Unknown Speaker  55:59

every time

Unknown Speaker  56:00

me like a

Unknown Speaker  56:02

Triple J

Unknown Speaker  56:05

what kind of animal person?

Unknown Speaker  56:10

Unknown Speaker  56:44

Tiger.

Unknown Speaker  56:50

Unknown Speaker  57:07

Unknown Speaker  57:14

Well I wouldn't want to know though. Why does Jim died your mind Jefferson want this missing book? Was he hiring us?

Unknown Speaker  57:25

And why is this team uniquely suited to get this book aside from your dominum really wants to book

Unknown Speaker  57:33

wise I'm looking for more tables that we can roll on we might need to like use our brains right after use our brains for this one that's hurt. Did I Jeremiah Jefferson doesn't say what the book they just really don't like violence Virgil corporated

Unknown Speaker  57:47

Oh, maybe maybe it's we're being hired to steal other data, but we also know that they have data. Gotcha. All right. So this is I'm finding the missing book is actually our cyclist. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  58:00

There we go

Unknown Speaker  58:03

alright so what kind of

Unknown Speaker  58:06

hurt me right

Unknown Speaker  58:13

so what kind of information just jumped out here

Unknown Speaker  58:19

okay

Unknown Speaker  58:21

how is it from five search? Yeah it's a from biosketch right

Unknown Speaker  58:27

where the the shipments of radiated spaghetti that have already been sold been distributed

Unknown Speaker  58:35

by Oscar engine was not the uranium

Unknown Speaker  58:39

spaghetti is owned by flames virgin sons

Unknown Speaker  58:44

being the offshoot of flames virgin sons, yeah.

Unknown Speaker  58:48

Um, but there's some bad blood there because of the lawsuits and stuff right you know? Um Yeah, so

Unknown Speaker  58:58

should I Jeremiah Jefferson doesn't work

Unknown Speaker  59:00

boss doesn't like flame sturgeon sons. What if? What if Jupiter did die Jeremiah Jefferson?

Unknown Speaker  59:10

These people are paralegals

Unknown Speaker  1:03:26

are working towards and passing the buck bar

Unknown Speaker  1:03:36

which includes breaking into places

Unknown Speaker  1:03:40

well yeah also like that's the data really know the mind you have to break it

Unknown Speaker  1:03:48

is part of the bar exam. That's what I hear at least. I mean maybe it was more people with

Unknown Speaker  1:03:56

that's what that's what gave the exam its name. Yeah, right.

Unknown Speaker  1:04:00

Because that was the first crime Yeah, hitting somebody with the

Unknown Speaker  1:04:06

Okay, so they're all

Unknown Speaker  1:04:09

but you know what? law school is really expensive right so when Gemini Jeremiah Jefferson hires you you're like yeah I gotta pay off these school because in post apocalyptic future we're all still drowning in

Unknown Speaker  1:05:35

Security is unexpectedly Hi. I don't feel like that's very good. That's not very good.

Unknown Speaker  1:05:44

Okay to third parties also be interesting.

Unknown Speaker  1:05:53

Let's do it.

Unknown Speaker  1:06:00

Yeah

Unknown Speaker  1:06:03

I heard castleberry oh

Unknown Speaker  1:06:09

okay see a s

Unknown Speaker  1:06:13

Unknown Speaker  1:06:15

AR why

Unknown Speaker  1:06:18

they are shoes and

Unknown Speaker  1:06:21

medicine

Unknown Speaker  1:06:28

and they are cross with an urban animal in North America

Unknown Speaker  1:06:34

at which is

Unknown Speaker  1:06:40

actually just a messenger cast away

Unknown Speaker  1:06:47

really,

Unknown Speaker  1:06:48

really bad ass messengers and post apocalypse. So this other party is this a single person or is this like a whole group of customers?

Unknown Speaker  1:06:56

Oh my god, like a turkey do they own another corporation or do they

Unknown Speaker  1:07:01

I think I think they're by themselves okay

Unknown Speaker  1:07:05

what if it's part of the Phoenix

Unknown Speaker  1:07:08

or the the

Unknown Speaker  1:07:15

Phoenix

Unknown Speaker  1:07:17

they're the originator Do you like their descendants of the of the people who cursed yeah our dominoes ancestor Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  1:07:26

Oh, and they're the ones that

Unknown Speaker  1:07:30

knowledge

Unknown Speaker  1:07:35

Okay, so what we know is it they sold the book or they have the secret knowledge of magical punching

Unknown Speaker  1:07:41

stolen from them. Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  1:07:45

I mean I got somebody clearly did. That's fair. Okay. Number two told America totally sold

Unknown Speaker  1:07:54

yeah

Unknown Speaker  1:07:58

was an inside job

Unknown Speaker  1:08:01

A weight but so Indiana Scourge still there still magical punching knowledge

Unknown Speaker  1:08:10

Yeah, but still the

Unknown Speaker  1:08:19

right yeah, so until the mirror their ancestor ancestor was like the winner in some sort of like magical tool and they gave on our combat knowledge and then it is scary stone. Yeah

Unknown Speaker  1:08:37

okay so Matilda Where's ancestor? One

Unknown Speaker  1:08:40

ematic

Unknown Speaker  1:08:43

one the knowledge Yeah, okay one magic punching

Unknown Speaker  1:08:57

all right

Unknown Speaker  1:08:59

then

Unknown Speaker  1:09:00

insecurities accessories. Yes.

Unknown Speaker  1:09:05

And so this this other party I think a good name is misty Marsh

Unknown Speaker  1:09:14

terrifying.

Unknown Speaker  1:09:22

can't fly but a cassowary

Unknown Speaker  1:09:29

unstoppable

Unknown Speaker  1:09:39

civilizations destroyed by cassowary dropping.

Unknown Speaker  1:09:43

So how does Dora dominum fit into this? So dark dominoes part of the goldwing society? Right? Yeah. And the goldwing Society is the one she's the one that last week

Unknown Speaker  1:09:56

brought this group to find. Find the book

Unknown Speaker  1:10:00

And their ancestor was cursed by Indiana Scourge endora Domino have a distant related ancestor. Let's do it. Yeah, yeah. I think the only the only purpose of it Yes. Okay, so it's also you're

Unknown Speaker  1:10:15

also poker Boone is our slip hacker and a cowboy hat. That's obviously the player who refused to make any

Unknown Speaker  1:10:29

very specific sure because

Unknown Speaker  1:10:35

we know that's probably

Unknown Speaker  1:10:40

kind of like that the Wolverine sort of character type who's, you know, he pretends he doesn't care. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You just happen to be going to the same place I'm going

Unknown Speaker  1:10:53

we're missing something very important year. Okay. Romantic arcs. Oh,

Unknown Speaker  1:11:00

Okay, well, we have five minutes left in this panel, but if nobody kicks us out, and if nobody's got anything immediate, we probably do need some. We kind of do. Yeah. All right.

Unknown Speaker  1:11:13

Okay, so we've got the 440 members we have

Unknown Speaker  1:11:18

let's see. jebediah Jeremiah Jefferson we've got

Unknown Speaker  1:11:23

we didn't really

Unknown Speaker  1:11:27

know Brian.

Unknown Speaker  1:11:30

So who's who's the ancestors so we can cross that off into the possibility. Right? Well, I don't think any of these

Unknown Speaker  1:11:39

Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  1:11:43

Domino and Indiana Scourge are distantly related. Right. So let's let's mix that as a romantic

Unknown Speaker  1:11:52

Scourge endora. dominoes are distantly related. Yeah. I think this

Unknown Speaker  1:11:59

is desperate.

Unknown Speaker  1:12:00

The hiding radius. Okay, I mean that sounds about right. All right. So because I know we could create a table

Unknown Speaker  1:12:16

Do I have to drop this?

Unknown Speaker  1:12:20

Walker Boone? Yeah. Noted hacker. Yep. You're human.

Unknown Speaker  1:12:26

We have Indiana Scourge. Okay person.

Unknown Speaker  1:12:31

We have Matilda mer, a grizzly bear bat.

Unknown Speaker  1:12:37

We have Dora dominoe who is

Unknown Speaker  1:12:42

our rap con door.

Unknown Speaker  1:12:47

Then we have Oberon O'Brien, the mo garnishee. It's very cute.

Unknown Speaker  1:12:54

Everyone is in love

Unknown Speaker  1:12:59

right?

Unknown Speaker  1:13:00

Start there so like maybe we should just put around Ryan right

Unknown Speaker  1:13:06

okay

Unknown Speaker  1:13:09

and then we got triple day

Unknown Speaker  1:13:12

Tiger elephant. We

Unknown Speaker  1:13:16

we don't have enough time to

Unknown Speaker  1:13:32

Jeremiah.

Unknown Speaker  1:13:35

Jeremiah Jeremiah.

Unknown Speaker  1:13:41

Yes, I'm missing my

Unknown Speaker  1:13:44

period. How about da is like I love trying? Yeah.

Unknown Speaker  1:13:49

Somebody's gotta

Unknown Speaker  1:13:51

love hate.

Unknown Speaker  1:13:53

Let's just do love, love,

Unknown Speaker  1:13:57

Unknown Speaker  1:13:59

Unknown Speaker  1:14:00

Unknown Speaker  1:14:07

Unknown Speaker  1:14:11

Okay, all right, this shiny blue and purple one is like two colors. bisexual, that's for sure.

Unknown Speaker  1:14:18

One

Unknown Speaker  1:14:20

horse

Unknown Speaker  1:14:22

was in love with

Unknown Speaker  1:14:26

three, Matilda. Alright, so Booker Boone wants Matilda. Yeah, okay. All right. All right, that makes a lot of sense. I probably should have written all these names on here. That's fine.

Unknown Speaker  1:14:38

Matilda and

Unknown Speaker  1:14:44

Matilda was no

Unknown Speaker  1:14:49

it doesn't work.

Unknown Speaker  1:14:55

Like, okay roles like Tilda three times in a row. So I must say that

Unknown Speaker  1:15:00

Maybe

Unknown Speaker  1:15:07

only let's

Unknown Speaker  1:15:10

just

Unknown Speaker  1:15:12

go back to yourself so Okay, so we're just gonna do this. She wants to be by yourself. Yeah, there you go. All right.

Unknown Speaker  1:15:19

Unknown Speaker  1:17:08

Yeah, because

Unknown Speaker  1:17:11

of being the only person that's good enough for myself but secretly, so everybody's into

Unknown Speaker  1:17:19

Well, let's see who Oberon O'Brian is truly

Unknown Speaker  1:17:24

rolling.

Unknown Speaker  1:17:26

Five, five is Triple J.

Unknown Speaker  1:17:35
